About the Project
htx.ca – The Health Technology Exchange (HTX) and Industry Canada (Life Sciences Branch) are collaborating together to deliver a comprehensive mapping solution of the eco-system of the Medical and Assistive Technology (MAT) sector in Canada. This on-line web based solution provides a visible showcase of the sector to assist organizations and companies with partnering and match making capabilities.  This project has been developed through a high-tech information based company, d&a, www.dainfo.com using information collected by HTX.  Since 2004, HTX has been working the Regional Innovation Networks (RINs) to develop an inventory of MAT organizations across Canada. This database of information has been verified on an annual basis since development and through the use of the mapping solution the information will be updated in real time.
